General policies
Main terms
- State tax applies in addition to all rentals in Lake County.
- Check-in time is 4 p.m. and Check-out time is 11 a.m.
- We regret that pets are not permitted.
- We require that cigarette smoke be confined to the pool deck or outside
areas.
- Pool and Spa heat are optional and are for a minimum of 3 days at an
additional charge.
- It is each guests responsibility to read and comply with instructions
within the "Guest Information Book" located in the home.
- The Registration Form found in each home must be completed prior to
check-out and will be collected by the management company. The failure to do
so will result in a $25. fee being withheld from the security deposit.
- $200.00 deposit and $25.00 processing fee are required to confirm a
reservation. The $200 serves as a security deposit in case of any damages or
missing items from the home and is refunded 7-10 business days after
departure. Damages made to the home by the guest will be the responsibility
of the renter. The $25 processing fee is non-refundable at any time.
- The deposit and processing fee must be paid by personal check or
by electronic payment deposit in advance of receiving a booking
confirmation. Payment of deposit
infers the renter accepts the terms of this "General
Policies" page.
- All Rental payments must be received in full 30 days prior to arrival.
If the payment is not received 30 days prior to the arrival date it will be
considered a cancellation and the deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation terms
- Within 24 hours of confirming a reservation the $200 Security Deposit is
fully refundable.
- 31 Days or more prior to arrival date - Deposit is refundable minus a
$25 Cancellation fee.
- 30 - 15 Days from arrival date: Full forfeiture of deposit.
- 14 - 2 Days from arrival date: Full forfeiture of deposit plus 2 nights
of the rental.
- 48 Hours or less from check-in time, during stay, or no shows: Forfeit
full rental amount, Security deposit is refunded.
- The Processing Fee is non-refundable at any times.
Additional terms
- Unauthorized Early Check-in and Late Check-out will be charged
additional rental fees.
- Personal Checks will not be accepted within 30 days from arrival.
Payments can always be made by Electronic transfer, Money Order, Cashiers
Check, or Bank Draft in U.S. Funds.
- EllaVista is equipped with 2 sets of bed linens per bed and 2 sets of
bath linen (based on max. occupancy of twelve), TV and DVD/VCR in each
bedroom, family room and games room, washer & dryer, 2 hair dryers and all
major and most small kitchen appliances, BBQ grill, high chair, and portable
crib (does not include crib bedding).
- EllaVista is equipped with a security lock box for valuables at no
additional charge.
- EllaVista is equipped with a wireless Internet service which is provided
for guests use Free of Charge. The owners will use reasonable endeavours to
ensure the service is available for use but cannot be held responsible for
any failures or non-availability of communication lines, hardware or
software. In accepting these terms you also agree not to download or
save any pornographic, offensive, obscene or illegal material or conduct any
illegal activity on the Internet.
- EllaVista has a telephone system that also uses the villa wireless
Internet service. Calls from the villa telephones can be made
without charge to local and long distance landline and mobile numbers in the
USA and Canada. European landline calls are also free of charge but
calls to mobile numbers are chargeable. Calls to any premium rate
numbers whether in the USA, Canada or Europe are also charged. You
will be required to pay for any chargeable calls prior to your departure.
- EllaVista is "Self Catering." and is fully equipped and furnished. You
will need to provide food and other supplies as needed. We do not guarantee
items such as laundry and dish detergents or personal hygiene items to be in
the home.
- Mid Stay cleaning can be provided at an additional charge.
- Alterations/Changes to bookings will be at the owners discretion. An
administration fee of $25. is applicable.
- Force Majeure: Neither the home owner nor its management company, can
accept or be responsible for or be liable in respect of loss, damage or
changes caused by force majeure (e.g. strikes, floods, closure of airports,
weather conditions or other events beyond our control).
